General Info
Chief Executive Officer of NormRose Believe Academy:
Dr. La Theia Black
PROGRAM PLACEMENT
Enrollment is made through the mutual cooperation of each student’s school district, parent/guardian, their Individual Educational Plan (IEP), Special Education Plan (SEP), or 504 team, along with NormRose Believe Academy school staff. All students enter the program with the definitive goal of obtaining a future diploma. This transition transpires when the IEP, SEP or 504 Team reaches consensus that the student has achieved the skills necessary to be successful in an integrated setting.
IEP/504/SEP PLANS
Placement can be made without an IEP/504 plan by a parent/guardian, school counselor, school psychologist, school administrator or mental health therapist for students experiencing behavioral at-risk, low performing academia issues, or needing a safe educational environment.
TRADITIONAL STUDENT
Also, entrance into NRBA can be via personal interview and evaluation. Individual attention is the keynote of classes of limited size; therefore, early application is strongly encouraged. Enrollment depends on the existing openings, the attitude of the child, and the willingness of both child and parent(s)/guardian(s) to work within the philosophy, goals and framework of the program.
NOTICE OF NONDISCRIMINATORY POLICY AS TO STUDENTS
NormRose Believe Academy admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
